Brenda’s 3-year-old girl is so darling, and very active. To get her while she is sitting (not zooming past me), I had the challenge to get her to smile for me…

What I have learned during this session is that you just have to be very patient with an active 3-year-old. And if you are, you can capture images like this:

Sweet kiss for dad…

or mom…

…and a sweet, innocent smile when least expected

I have learned so much during this session, and again realized how much I love children’s photography.
